10) ONLINE MARKETING
10.1 DoubleClick by Google

This website uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google, operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("DoubleClick").

DoubleClick uses cookies to display relevant ads to users, improve campaign performance reports, or prevent users from seeing the same ads multiple times. Google assigns a cookie ID to track which ads are displayed in which browser, preventing duplicate displays. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in the optimal marketing of our website in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

In addition, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to track conversions related to ad requests. This occurs, for example, when a user views a DoubleClick ad and later visits the advertiser's website using the same browser to make a purchase. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain personally identifiable information.

Through the use of these marketing tools, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to Google's server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through this tool and are informing you based on our current knowledge: By integrating DoubleClick, Google receives information that you have accessed the relevant part of our website or clicked on one of our ads. If you are registered with a Google service, Google may associate your visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or are not logged in, it is possible for Google to obtain and store your IP address.

If you object to this tracking process, you can disable cookies for conversion tracking by adjusting your browser settings to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com. Visit Google Ads Settings. Please note that this setting will be deleted if you clear your cookies. Alternatively, you can visit the Digital Advertising Alliance at About Ads to learn more about cookies and manage your preferences. Finally, you can adjust your browser settings to notify you of cookie placements and decide individually whether to accept them or exclude them in certain cases or entirely. However, rejecting cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

10.2 Use of Google AdWords Conversion Tracking

This website uses the online advertising program "Google AdWords" and, as part of Google AdWords, the conversion tracking service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google").

We use Google AdWords to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites via advertising (Google AdWords). We can determine the success of individual advertising measures in relation to campaign data. This helps us show ads of interest to you, make our website more engaging, and achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs.

A conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on a Google AdWords ad. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer system. These cookies generally expire after 30 days and are not used to identify you personally. If the user visits specific pages of this website and the cookie has not expired, Google and Solara Auckland can recognize that the user clicked the ad and was redirected to that page.

Each Google AdWords customer receives a unique cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked across AdWords customers’ websites. The information collected using conversion cookies helps generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who use conversion tracking. Customers receive the total number of users who clicked their ad and were redirected to a conversion-tracking-tagged page. They do not, however, receive information that personally identifies users.

If you prefer not to participate in tracking, you can block this use by disabling Google AdWords conversion tracking cookies in your browser settings. This will prevent your data from being included in conversion-tracking statistics. We use Google AdWords based on our legitimate interest in targeted advertising in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, ensuring compliance with EU data protection standards.

To permanently disable cookies for ad preferences, adjust your browser settings or install the browser plugin available at:

11) WEB ANALYTICS SERVICES
Google (Universal) Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze website usage. Information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including the shortened IP address) is typically transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA.

This website uses Google Analytics exclusively with the "_anonymizeIp()" extension, ensuring IP anonymization by truncating your IP address, which prevents direct association with a specific person. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

In these exceptional cases, data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, reflecting our legitimate interest in statistical analysis for optimization and marketing purposes.

Google processes this data on behalf of Solara Auckland to evaluate website usage, compile reports, and provide other services related to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser settings. However, this may limit website functionality. You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing data generated by the cookie related to your use of the website by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at:
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

Facebook Custom Audience via Pixel Method This website uses the “Facebook Pixel” from Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Facebook”). With explicit consent, this method allows for tracking user behavior after they have viewed or clicked on a Facebook ad. This procedure is used to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and can help optimize future advertising campaigns. The collected data is anonymous to us, meaning it does not provide us with information about the identity of users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, enabling connection to the respective user profile, and Facebook may use the data for its own advertising purposes according to Facebook's data usage policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/).

You can allow Facebook and its partners to display ads on and off Facebook. For these purposes, a cookie may be stored on your computer. These processing activities only occur when explicit consent is given according to Art. 6(1) (a) GDPR. Consent to use the Facebook Pixel may only be given by users who are older than 13 years of age. If you are younger, we ask you to seek permission from your parents. Facebook Inc., based in the USA, is certified under the US-EU Privacy Shield agreement, which ensures compliance with the privacy standards applicable in the EU. Further data processing occurs only if you have consented to Google linking your web and app browsing history with your Google account and using information from your Google account to personalize ads you view on the web. In this case, when visiting our website, if you are logged into Google, Google will combine your data with Google Analytics data to create and define cross-device remarketing lists. You can permanently deactivate the setting of cookies for ad preferences by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/ Alternatively, you can get more information about setting cookies and make adjustments at the Digital Advertising Alliance website: www.aboutads.info. Finally, you can configure your browser to notify you about the setting of cookies and decide individually whether to accept them, or exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general. If you do not accept cookies, some functions on our website may be restricted. If you exercise your right to object, we will stop processing your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

If your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your data for such marketing. You can exercise this right as described above.
